Osteopathy

Aranee studied Osteopathy at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) and has been in practice for approximately 14 years. At BCOM she obtained a Masters in Osteopathy, a Diploma in Osteopathy and a Diploma in Naturopathy in 2009. In this way she  can combine Naturopathy with Osteopathy to further help patients including concepts of hot and cold hydrotherapy, diet, and lifestyle advice. . She also uses Cranial Osteopathy techniques. These techniques are not only for treating children but for adults too. She feels that  having Cranial Osteopathy treatments has helped her over the years with helping to integrate her mind and body as a whole and makes her feel more grounded.  Aranee often comes out of sessions more energised and calmer and tries to regularly see her osteopath once a month or once every 2 months. Currently, Aranee is studying Women's Health Osteopathy part time at the Molinari Institute. She is also studying the Traditional Studies approach to osteopathy having attended some of Christian Sullivan's courses.

Aranee also combines structural osteopathy techniques such as soft tissue technique and mobilisation with Cranial Osteopathy. She also often creates exercise programs for patients so that they can help self manage their symptoms. Aranee will use the treatment modalities available to her to best cater to the patient's needs however when she feels something is outside her scope of practice, she will refer to other services when needed for example wellbeing services or channel patients to resources that may be useful.

Osteopaths can treat a wide variety of conditions including back pain,  and stresses or strains in the body from head to toe.
