About Us
Our Story
Aranee is an empathetic and passionate osteopath and physiotherapist with a special interest in pelvic pain and psychosexual concerns.
Currently she works in the NHS at Luton and Dunstable University Hospital as a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist.
In her spare time, she often campaigns for better mental health and well being and often campaigns for charities such as CALM and Suicide and Co to name a few.
This year Aranee is running the Brighton Marathon for Tommys for 3 of her best friends, who have been through baby loss. Aranee loves being a voice in the community.
Lotus Practice symbolises Aranee's growth from rising above challenging times. She had an arduous journey to get where she is today, and the Lotus is a symbol of her resilience, strength, and tenacity. She portrays herself as a Lotus emerging from the murky waters. Similarly, the Lotus can also symbolise her patient's journey and she hopes they may have more clarity and direction after seeing Aranee at Lotus Practice.
Aranee believes that her clients’ well-being is paramount in helping encompass a healthy lifestyle for improved recovery. In this way she tries to empower patients to take the right steps needed to help themselves. She is an advocate for health and well-being.
Her passion for well-being grew stronger after the bereavement of her younger brother Kannan , more than 15 years ago. Kannan said he would model as a patient for Aranee's website, and he is still there in spirit in a higher sense.
Aranee believes that it is important that we do not be afraid to reach out for help, whether that's for regular treatment, having a personal trainer, counselling, and taking ownership of our own health in every possible way and using all the resources we can to help.
Aranee is also passionate about serving the community and does her best in her local community and takes part in service activities whenever she can. She also loves studying and is often studying courses part time to give patients more services in the future. Aranee has done continuous study and completed a postgraduate Diploma in Women's Health Osteopathy part time. She has also attended various physiotherapy postgraduate courses including POGP courses about bladder and bowel.
Aranee follows a vegan and gluten free lifestyle and does her best for her own health and well being following a naturopathic lifestyle. Aranee also loves running, meditation and yoga to help with her well being. She also loves going on retreats.
Aranee believes the right mindset can help one make more conscious choices about their health. Everything we do in life can reflect on our total health and well-being. It takes small conscious steps, one step at a time to help oneself so that better health can be achieved. She hopes to expand her clinic in the future to further provide other specialities.
